Now, I'm not a fan of the Alaia. I don't really know why but I just don't dig them. However, I do fully appreciate the difficulty and level of skill demanded to surf these things. The control required to slide the tail out at 123mph without spinning out and ending up somewhere in the sand bar is pretty incredible.
